ALL ABOUT BEATWALK

BEATWALK is the first Friday of the month
 April thru September & December
8 p.m.  to 11 p.m.
The Beat Walk is located in historic Columbia City at Rainier Ave S. and S. Edmunds St., south of Genesee and Alaska Streets

All of this incredible entertainment is provided in a comfortable setting within a two-block area. Five (or more!) venues with five (or more!) bands for only five bucks.  Bring yourself, your friends and your kids.

  • Unforgettable musical performances

  • An exciting variety of ethnic foods,

  • An undeniable sense of spontaneity and joy.

The Beat Walk is one of the many activities the Columbia City Revitalization Committee is currently sponsoring. This is a truly multicultural event reflecting the deep musical roots of the Rainier Valley.  Residents of Columbia City are encouraged to participate, and visitors are welcome to explore and enjoy the most vitally diverse neighborhood in the city.  Beat Walk events are organized and staffed by volunteer participation. If you have time to help work the doors at the events or provide other help, please contact Emily Whiton 206-760-8762

Presented by the participating merchants & the Columbia City Revitalization Committee
